The West Africa Post Graduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) Hosts Memorable Staff Annual Retreat The West Africa Post Graduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) held its much-anticipated Staff Annual Retreat on December 7, 2024. This remarkable event brought together faculty, staff, and administrative personnel to reflect on the year’s achievements, plan for the future, and foster camaraderie among the team. A Day of Reflection and Strategy Set against the backdrop of a serene and picturesque location, the retreat provided a perfect environment for focused discussions and brainstorming. The theme for this year’s retreat was “Enhancing Excellence in Pharmacy Education and Practice Across West Africa.” This theme underscored the College’s commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and healthcare delivery in the region. The day kicked off with a keynote address by the College’s President, who highlighted the institution’s milestones in 2024, including groundbreaking research initiatives, successful accreditation processes, and strengthened collaborations with healthcare organizations across West Africa. The address set an optimistic tone for the day’s discussions and activities.

Tuesday 29th October 2024.Thereafter, the team went on a procession with the slogan: ”Towards a Drug Free Society to the Ministry of Social Welfare. The Minister was on hand to receive the team, the College appreciated the great work of the ministry with regards to managing victims of substance abuse.
